Head retopology.

Head topology finished, but it is too symmetric. Time for some tweaks to match the doodle.

Mirror Modifier applied and some tweaks made. A lot better! Time for some curly hair!

I copied some polygons from the head to use as a scalp. Added a Hair Particle System on it, but with zero strands, because I wanted more control, then I started adding the guide strands individually, from bottom to top.

After a few hours of struggle the hair is done! Also added more details in the model (cap and shoulders).

Already prepared the lighting, so its time for texturing and shading!

Handpainted the head color inside Blender and grabbed some fabric textures for the cap on textures.com

All materials are made using new Principled BSDF shader, except for the hair, wich is a mix of Diffuse BSDF and Hair BSDF shaders.

Rendering with Cycles and compositing network inside Blender.

Here you can see the Combined, Alpha and AO passes.
