Job Description
Artifact Design is a 2D/3D broadcast design and animation studio that specializes in broadcast-quality motion graphic design. We offer a highly energetic, challenging, and cool work environment. The Broadcast Design Assistant supports the Artists, Producer, and GM in various tasks in Artifact’s Atlanta studio. Applicant must be proficient in Photoshop and Illustrator and have working knowledge of After Effects. Duties include simple 2D animation and design, rotoscoping, versioning, archiving, logo work; office work such as packaging demo reels, research, answering phones and running errands. The intern’s schedule and the amount of hours worked per week are flexible as long as he/she is available at least 20 hours per week. It is also preferable but not required that he/she be available for a few hours each day of the week. Artifact’s normal working hours are 9:00am – 6:30pm, Monday through Friday. Applicant should have transportation to and from Artifact Design’s Atlanta studio.

Wages
$6.00/hour

Duration
Internship starts in mid-August 2006 and will last for approximately three months. Start and end dates of the internship may be adjusted to suit academic scheduling. On occasion, an internship will lead to a full-time position with Artifact Design, but there is absolutely no guarantee.
