Books about skintones

Does anyone out there know about any books on skintones. Like, I’ve heard that there are color zones and such, and was just wondering if anyone knew a book that explains it in depth.

Your best bet is to get a really good book on portrait painting. Make sure it’s one by a revered portrait painter, not one of those no-name guys that hasn’t earned the respect of his peers.
