Hi, just joined today. I’m going to start getting into 3d animation in my digital media course here at Full Sail. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to any books I should check into. The course will provide me with technical guides for software and whatnot, I’m looking for books on real world physics and human movements and stuff. Any suggestions?
Any of the Edweard Muybridge motion study books will be invaluable. There’s human and animal motion over several volumes. They’re published by Dover so they’re fairly cheap and copyright free too.
Most of the animators I know swear by them.
All the best, and good luck with your studies,
