I already posted this in the 2D section but I wanted to start a thread here as well. I am planning on modeling this sucker so watch out!
I am very slow and have to time to actally do it, but I just might sneek some thing out.
I have been impressed with everyones work so far!

Yikes! Nice. I should go have another romp in the 2d challenges if this is the sort of work being turned out!

#3

thats a beautiful concept u made i watch this thread and hope the 3d is starting soon

#4

  …enough said. OK I’ll add to that…Beautiful, one excellent concept. I love the whole design. The feel, I would and hopefully will just  …over the 3D version…Just do everyone a favor and get this beautiful concept in the 3D world KOryH…very interesting.

#5

I really like this one. It would be great if you could manage
to finish it.

#6

Well, OK
I found some time to crank this out. I have noticed that I am getting faster at 3D these days.
I think it’s because I found some new tools.

Anyway here it is. The major forms in the body are established and I started working on the head. I still need to figure out how exactly it’s going to work. Some times the transition between 2D and 3D can be trickey!

Excellent work so far koryH The sketch is simply beautiful.

Damn nice sketch - and the model’s already looking like it…

The area around the top of the thigh on it’s back legs looks different in the model than those in the sketch - but minor niggle since it’s your first WIP post on the mesh!

Email Notification = yes

cool! Koryh is back in da house!! always nice to see your work  :applause:

Here is a 2D update for the Model.
I added a bunch of tirtiary details and fun things that seem to make it more believable.

I will get back to 3D soon.

KOryH, that’s a really awesome design. I love the scale to it. So this is going to be done in both 2D and 3D? Now that’s a challenge

So far the design rocks and the modeling looks really good.

Great start!

Here is a little update.
I started more detail on the head and blocked in the stuff on the back. I am still playing with porportions. I think the cargo hold is too big. I like the way it looks in the drawing. The smaller stuff really makes the beast look huge.

…Back to work (I mean my job)

#13

and U say that U work slowly ?
I think that it is a great start for 2 days of work (more if U work on the 2D sketch as the same time)

#14

I like the design of the covered cargo carrier. But I agree about the scale of it. I think it needs to be about .25 to .33 smaller.

#15

your concept is really good, and modeling looking well !!!

I agree, that cargo looks like it’s going to slide right off his back.
