Blink x blend shapes

This has been posted years ago by Stood, but i’m facing the same issue. A blink involves both eyelids meeting together in the center whereas a blink is just the top eyelid coming down. This blinking action causes problems in between where the eyelid blend shape often intersects with the eyeball.

Whats the best way to create a blink that has this kind of issue? or is it purely a modeling issue?

Cheers, any help would nice.

If we’re talking about maya blendshapes, then you can create in-between blendshapes to fix any intersection that might happen with the eyeball geo.

Edit Deformers --> Blend Shape–> Add [Option Box]

There’s a checkbox for adding an in-between
