as i stated i was wondering what i was doing wrong…i used the smooth mesh option but all it renders is a box instead of a smooth sphere…?..whats up with that
On the preview (the grid window) it looks fine but comes out wrong on the renders? That is odd!

i figured out what was going on…in the meshsmooth subdivsion box it twas set to 4 in the window but next to it is a little box that tell how many subdivsions there should be to render. it was set to one…so it rendered a low poly object…its a nice feature really but…not well laid out or explained:shrug: …so i can have a low rez mesh in the window and render a high poly image…
