YIKES, nice kitty u got there!!
|jason
Heheh, my old cat was just like that. She didn’t want to move with me when I got a place of my own, so she’s still living with my parents. (Trying to relocate a 6.5 kilo heavy Norwegian Forestcat when she doesn’t want to change homes is NOT a fun thing).
She attacks everything from huge dogs to people that make too many loud noises. I sat on the floor at my parents’ place and laughed too loudly at a movie, once, and she jumped up and bit me in the shoulder. She used to lurk on top of a cupboard and attack my boyfriends when I left the room. People dread that cat. She’s devastatingly beautiful, though.
When she was younger, she used to catch seagulls and drag them into my room, hiding them under the bed >:|. Pretty insane.
That is a scary injury Linda, when I broken my right wrist about twenty years ago I thought it was the end of the world because I couldn’t draw for 6 weeks, a hand all distorted like that would have had me in fits!
Linda… little question for you regarding cats-- my cat (Mist) was perfectly toilet trained as a kitten, always went in the litterbox but in the past couple of weeks has started to soil the living room carpet-- always in the same place. No matter how often I clean it up or try anything, she keeps going back there. Help!?
I love her though, stripy little thing that she is
Stephen – Hey, breaking it would freak ME out, ha ha. But, yeah, hand injuries suck.
Theresa – hm, it sounds like she’s unhappy with something. Cats will sometimes do that if there have been too many changes in their life, if something is going on that they don’t like (a new family member, too much noise or maybe too little attention?) What you might want to do for a while is to put something in the place where she goes. Like, a box or something, maybe even keep the litter box there for a while.
Or try buying one of those sprays that smell like something kitties hate, and spray it on the spot where she likes to pee. I don’t know, stuff like that is difficult
I’ll ask my friend Ulrika, she works with animals.
I think he’s been watching Liar Liar with Jim Carry one to many times . . .
You could beat Muhammad Ali with that paw girl, and you wouldn’t even need boxing gloves.
Seriously tho, that looks painfull . . .
cats are eeeevil. They might be pretty… but they are eeeeevil.
now a panther… that’s a beauty.
Hm. Well, she has been getting these cysts on her face and, while they seem painful, they clear up after a couple of weeks. That could be causing it??
I have no idea what’s causing the cysts though. I’d bring her to the vet but I have NO money and a visit to the vet here costs at least 40… they do clear up before too long, but she keeps getting them- I think it might be caused by fighting neighborhood cats?
Look at us getting all off topic! Wouldn’t it be fun to have a thread where we could all posts pics of our cats?
I’m not exactly blonde either, can ya believe it
Okay I used to be a real lintott (sorry no translation! well… really blond) when I was a kid, but I grew out of that I guess
HAHAHAHAHAHA! the toe socks! you almost made me choke on my breakfast, hehe. not that they’re funny looking or anything but you have these pics of you and your hair and then all of a sudden, FEET! lol
anyways, i’m not too keen on the tute for just cg society members. i think if there’s that kind of imformation to be shared, it should be shared with everyone. besides, you know it’ll leak out eventually. just my 2 cents/lbs/pesos/yel/lyra
take it easy =D
holy cow! that’s crazy! I remember reading about it but never saw those pics…yikes. I’ve had my cat maul my arm unrepentantly but never seen anything like that! Cat scratch fever? Glad you got better, the world needs more of your wonderful stuff!
oh and it’s not that much of a non-sequitur…stripey hair, stripey socks? kinda sorta?
regardless, all that talent AND you’re adorable to boot? plus extra prehensile limb powers? no fair!
Holy Crap! You were very lucky that you didn’t have blood poisoning! I’ll bet that baby was some kind of sore for several days. I have a housefull of cats and I do get nailed once in a while, but nothing like that. Makes you appreciate what is going on when a couple of old Toms are in a death match. Glad no permanent damage was done.
Take Care, Kent
Hi-ya Enayla!!! Lovely to see you here :bounce: <3<3<3
I didn’t hear about the hand… oh… my… god… How did you not kill your cat after that, LOL! Good lord, woman! The pictures! (urg… I’m gonna be sick, quick fetch the bucket!
) Seriously though, I’m glad there was no ‘permanent’ damage… the mental trauma, however… I hope you fare better than me with my ‘cat vomit’ trauma, ha ha ha.
Oooooh, and I LOVE the new do! Aw, 'aint she pretty… sigh…
I’m sure I’ll see you around the forums. See ya!

about your hair, it still looks black to me in that picture, but lets just leave it at “dark”.
Awww, Sweden the country with streams of milk and chocolate
PS:
Worse than a cat that attacks everything is one that “talks” all the time at you.
Hi Linda,
Always glad to see your commitment to the community!
You are so dedicated, please be always like that ok?
Gratz on your haircut
I agree you should post a pic
I am always thankful to you, thanks once more.
Good luck and a nose kiss on Asrael.
Kisz,
You guys drink a lot of Molson, eh? And wear toques. Yeah, lots of toques.
Thanks a lot for the pics, Linda. I’ll be keeping a closer eye on my two cats from now on, just in case they mistake my mouse for a real mouse, while my hand is moving it around.
~T
yes, we get lotsa toques
but thats not just canada. more of a side effect of living through colder winter conditions ;).
kind of funny actually. back when i was in italy last year, a few of the guys at the studio were sweedish, and we also had a german there too. when it started getting colder ( but it was still “ok” ), everyone that came from colder places started dressing up in layers, AND a toque was a part of the set. while italians were just wearing a simple sweater or maybe a light jacket ontop of a t-shirt. i guess we kinda like being prepared for the worst conditions that can come up ( although they never seem to happen back in italy ). having a toque with you is an important part of being prepared!
PS: as far as i remember, out of the 3 sweedes that were there, 2 were blonde, and one was dirty blonde, leaning toward brown.
Hey that injury looks almost real, cool work with it!
BTW, I’m very glad to be able to have you among the other fantastic artists in CGS, in some weeks we’ll see what CGS will truly be with you all on board!:bounce:
