hey Linda just got D’Artiste today…I’m speachless…very cool stuff…It really is worth it and 10 times more…

#22

With feet like that how come you had to take time off from painting when your cat attacked your hand? snicker

My wife can pick up stuff and dial a phone with her toes. I guess it’s not an uncommon thing. I’m lacking in toe coordination though. They do nothing but bump into things.

I’d love to see a tutorial on how you construct a face. The eye tut that you did was great, I’ve seen the nose tutorial … lips? ears?? hair??? That would just about do it. No pressure. Hehehehehe.

#23

a sweede chick with black hair, now ive seen everything.

#24

Linda did that in D’Artiste!

#25

Yes, rub in the fact that I can’t afford d’artiste  …

#27

On my “to buy” list.

#28

CgMonkey – Ee! Don’t compare me to Feng, I’m so not worthy. Thank you though

Doesn’t my foot look freaky though, folks? See how those toes bend outwards? I have, like
my hands and feet are extremely bendy. I can twist and turn my fingers in really weird ways and my feet look eerily monkeyish. I think I might be a mutant.

And thanks regarding the hair

And yes, there is a face tutorial in D’artiste. I’m not going to do any full tutorials outside of D’artiste, I think, (meaning, no full-painting, or full-face, etc), because that’d just be bad commercial thinking of my part and not a very nice thing to do to ballistic publishing, either.

Martin – hair isn’t black!! It’s brown, heheh. I suppose it amounts to the same thing, though. Us Swedes are supposed to be blonde. There was this lady on the flight from Chicago to LA who I started talking with. She thought I looked like Snow White (with my pale skin and dark hair) and couldn’t belieeeeve that I was actually from Sweden. I just wasn’t tall or blonde enough, and I don’t have big boobs, not that she said anything about the latter, ha ha.

Jason – heheh, avatar is a self portrait

As for a lip tutorial. I have one on my site.

#29

dam thats one rosey self portrait!!

Hey Linda, nice to see another daily sketch frequenter here.

#31

Hey Linda good to see you here. I’m also in desperate need of a haircut - it’s been too long - starting to look like a hermit…

Last time I was in sweden I saw plenty of dark-haired swedes (also plenty of your stereotypical scandinavians). Hope to be visiting your country, as well as norwary and Finland (many good friends there) later this year. Look forward to the tutorial.

be well

#32

Far from all Swedes are blondes :] It’s just a cute illusions that people outside of Sweden has, heh.

– might be appreciated by those who know what happened to my arm…

#33

Yeah, national stereotypes are so quaint…I’m so not the Australian stereotype…for one I’ve never patted a crocodile let alone been stupid enough to wrestle one and I’ve never surfed in my life either, and don’t plan to…

#34

Heheh, so glad to hear you don’t mess with crocs.

#35

No, I think they’d mess with me pretty quickly…

I’ll leave the croc wrestling to the loud-mouthed guy (the one with a few roos loose in the top paddock as we’d say here, or a few sandwiches short of a picnic) with the unnatural and unhealthy urge to headlock wldlife and torrorise the poor things within in inch of their lives.

#36

tehehe nice toon, what happened to your arm if i may ask?

I went to pick my cat up when he was howling at a cat he wanted to kill.

He thought I was a monster attacking me so he retaliated.

Ripped my poor arm to near-shreds is what he did. It ended up infecting very badly, I had to wear a cast for two weeks.

http://www.furiae.com/images/handen3.jpg that’s what it looked like right before I went back to the doctor. After I took off the bandage in the morning because the hand was throbbing as if it was about to explode.

http://www.furiae.com/images/handen4.jpg this is what the arm looked like fourteen days after the incident. It’s still rather scarred but it’s not this bad anymore.

I didn’t love Azzy quite as much right then ;]

#38

uuughh…that’s looks so wrong… I’m glad I’ve already eaten…yes, I confess i’m squeamish…

you could scare small children with that hand…

#39

Hahah, yeah. A friend of mine was sweet enough to tag along when I went to the doctor in the morning, but he kept going, “the claw, the claw!” when he glanced at my hand. It was SO huge.

Cool comic strip!

We have 4 cats in the house > three of them are great hunters and very harmless - the last one (complete white fur) is a bit old > but she´s the most dangerous cat. She tears almost everything apart what comes in her range if she´s in the mood and that´s very often the case. (When she was younger she slashed little bunnies and birds in the floorboard > several times we had to coat the walls)
