Great tutorial
Azrael looks really cute in the first-step picture, Kind of looks like he’s saying “Mine!”

I hope you find you’re socks. Try looking where you have taken off your sock and under the furniture nerby. They might also be where you keep you dirty clothes before you put them in that washing-machine… Wait a minute… Why am I saying this?!
I’m shure You’ll find them some day

#74

lol :applause: Great tutorial.
Iits great to see so many fantastic artists here, and Linda you are one of the best. Your work in d’artiste is fan-bloody-tastic!

#75

hahha! instant classic

That looks much better than I can do using most skillful parts of my body! I feel so sad.

 :applause:

Wow, a foot drawing tutorial. That alone’s justified the cost of the CGSociety subscription.

The Swedish girls I’ve known have all been tall and blonde. Actually I’m lying - thinking again I did have a friend from Stockholm who was dark haired and looked fairly Bjorkish in a nearly Inuit type way.

I’ll have to look into getting D’Artiste. It sounds great.

The Thief series have to be one of my favourits. Thief 2 is simply awesome conceptually, in terms of atmosphere, and in its plot (I was truly shocked when i found out what was happening). Those barely intelligent steam powered robotic sentinels (the Children of Karras) with the scratchy gramaphone voices are frightening. Being a huge fan of steam-punk and this is quite possibly the best rendition of it ever (I have some ideas for a steam-punkish world I’d like to illustrate but that’s another story) I love that series.

Have you played the first 2 linda? In appearance they’re a bit dated but are in many ways superior to the latest. Still I really enjoyed Thief 3. I was terribly disappointed with the end however. An anticlimax imho but the Shoalbridge Cradle level was very cool and very scary - It still gives me shivers…and Garrett is just cool…simple as that…

The thief series would would make a fantastic MMOG. I want to delve into that world - there is such a great wealth of back-story to be gleaned if you take the time…

However, my favourite game in terms of atmosphere, storyline, suspense, action, that sense of total immersion, as well as the look, feel, and design (not to mention the core concepts such as toying with the notions of forced transhumanism) - damn it, the whole thing is without doubt Half-life 2, no contest.

The final scenes in the citadel have to be some of the most beautiful, and awe-inspiring, and atmosperic ever to grace a game…if you haven’t played it, it is most recommended…

Heh, i geuss this an old thread, but ill say welcome Linda… Would love the clothing tutorial nice strip socks you got going on… I had some what the same cat experence, Not really though. I tryed to show a cat to a dog when i was 8, 9 and the cat used my face as a scratching post, and jumped up leaving 1inch deep cuts down my whole face, docs said i was lucky not to lose my eyeballs… :stuck_out_tongue:

Wow this thread is old, but I only just joined the CGSociety so it’s new to me :stuck_out_tongue: Did Linda ever do the cloth tutorial? Linda is actually the reason I found this site. I had found her website first and she mentioned it so I came. I’m glad I did, this place is awesome.
