Hi,
Maybe another mode is needed for architectural modeling ( see the image below ). Now for a quick fix on the fly some snapping/constraint ( à la sketchup ) would be very welcome…
Someone has a solution (…fast and elegant… ) to fix the geometry with the current toolset?
I can fix the geometry in LW ( ume interesect… )…
tky
bevel problem..
What exactly are you trying to do? Just wondering I can’t really make out what it is you want to do? is the way modo beveled your window frame thing too great? Just play with the handles next time you bevel it doesn’t have to bevel the same way each time. That’s all I can think of.
The easiest way to shore up verts like that would be to download Eric’s AligntoPoint.pl script, which will allow you to select any number of verts and align them to the last selected point in X Y Z, or any combination of the three.
It can be downloaded from www.vertexmonkey.com
Sorry Dion…
This is really not a good solution.
What should I do if have a random orientation in space? This script works with a temporary construction plane? I have a complete control on the construction plane ? ( can I align 1 of the axes along an edge for example? )…
Modo is simply not good at all for precise modeling ( CAD, hard surfaces…). I really hope Luxology will change that soon.
Actually, we’re writing a script that does just that… I was simply responding the example that you gave…
