Best way to do this...

Hi Guys

I’m at a bit of a loss on how to go about this properly. I’ve attached a picture of what I’m working on, however, I want to add more edges around the “cut outs” so that the tip of the cut out will be more pointy when smoothed, and less curved as shown when smoothed. However, it seems no matter what I do, I get bumps or pinching around those areas. :frowning: Does anyone have any tips on how to make it more smooth?

Have you tried using creased edges? Its at the bottom of the edit mesh menu.

You can also add edge loops around your extrusions to mitigate the smoothing.
