Sorry for such a newbie question, but I’m getting into hard surface stuff in Zbrush and while it’s easy enough to shadowbox complex geometric shapes, dynamesh compound curves together, and do various other things which would be difficult in Max/Maya, sometimes the really basic stuff can be oddly difficult.
So my question is, what is the best way to bevel an edge in Zbrush? I’m not after some sort of freehand trim dynamic or hpolish type thing, but a super neat big chunky bevel, the type of thing which can be created in seconds in Max/Maya once you have a loop selected.
I found a tutorial on YouTube which involved selecting a thin line of faces, inflating and trimming, but it was limited to things on a plane, was fiddly to do, and often didn’t produce good results in my experience.
Any tips?
Thanks!
