Best Laptop For 3d and 2d ?

hey guys, im looking to buy a new computer and would prefer it to be a laptop so i can digital paint and do zbrush and 3d modeling anywhere and not stuck to a workplace. My budget is $ 2000, im currently looking at the Asus g75vw im going to add 16 gb ram.

Is this the best suited computer for my needs for the price?
any thoughts?

It sounds like you want the convenience of portability but you don’t actually need the portability. If that’s the case I’d look at a desktop instead where you can get more bang for the buck.

thanks guys, yeah im not really wanting a desktop i know i loose power but i want to be able to do work anywhere as it really affects me. I think i will be sticking with the asus g75vw
