Andre, I like this small panel too. I think it is nice to place few panels from different helicopters - I sure that most of Hueys in Vietnam had “multicolored” look:)
Regarding Mari - in simply words… I’m in love!
Needed some time to learn basic stuff but all in all I’m impressed by Mari’s functionality. The biggest advantage for me as far is mapping. You do not have to make good unwrapping - you can make simple flatten mapping for all objects and it will be enough for Mari. For me - perfect!
And I think, working with textures in 3d is faster than standard 2d technics. To be honest, I think that with your archives of “photo-textures” of Mi-24, Mari would be perfect solution with its projections:)
Ok, I made some updates. I decided to send this beauty in to the fire of real battle, so “she” got some scraches, dirt and oil spots. I added some rust too, but only on panels that are connected by screws - I think it is logical:)
