I’m new to Mari (and 3d in general) and I’m making my first texture. After viewing some tutorials, I’ve tried to make a bump map using my diffuse color channel as a base for my bump channel (with saturation and levels adjustments). Whenever I plug my bump channel into the bump option in my shader (VRay), however, my object turns completely white.
I’ve tried changing the values of the texture, using other shaders, and sacrificing my first born to no avail.
Any ideas?
