Hello, please help me.
I’m learning Maya and am trying to rig a humanoid for the first time. I have been following Lynda.com tutorials, and they’ve been great and I have felt myself learning more and more daily.
However, my rigging is falling apart - my bones are not binding to my skin correctly. Moving the bones causes them to move outside the poly model and distort the arm. Can someone please tell me why my character’s arms are doing this?
I warn you, I’m a total Maya nub, and this is the first time I have tried something like this, so it’s probably something very simple. I appreciate any help.
I’ve added a few more screens of my general model and bones to see if you can help me work it out.
