begginer to zbrush , how am i doing ?

#1

so zbrush kinda not as scary as i thought XD.

this is my zbrush first sculpture .the face done without any references, was looking to get some sense of form here and there while taking into account that he is a human being :P.
took quite 2days while to adjust to the wrokflow between brushes and working with dynamesh and/or sub-d levels which i knew some of these quite late i guess, now the lowest level seems to have crazy amount of details : ( . anyway here it is :

comments and critiques are appreciated .

Pretty good start. You block well your shape. If you go more on a cartoonish approach its good.

Maybe the trapezius are a big too high and rounds.

thanks! form is pretty much the goal out of this.yeah i thought maybe before i do some anime/cartoon characters i might need to go through some realistic looking ones first.
the neck area and the rest of the body wants some extra time for sure. thanks for the notes !

Hey man,
you’re doing great! I recognized Dexter before reading the description. For a beginner, those works are pretty impressive!

It’s nice to see your progress… nice work man! :wavey:

not bad for begining with Zbrush! most important thing is to understand the anatomy and not doing the same mistake as others(even me) ´- sculpting fantsy monsters  Great start, keep doing the great work;)
