 six straight episodes of bebop on cartoon network…now that was quality television

I put this guy in a pose, and redid some of the snow…tell me how it looks.

Yeah man, I was in Bebop heaven. This Saturday and last Saturday Cartoon Network aired six straight. I always do some of my best work after seeing that show ;).

The pose is looking good. I think it might need a little work, but it’s hard to say from this angle.

#73

hey-lookin cool but i got two suggestions regarding the posing of your BoB. first i think it might look cooler if hie head is more like lookin’ down on the ground. and i tested his pose on my self and recognized that the arms can’t be angled like that at the elbow. test it on yourself and you see what i mean(well i hope so…:D).
so on…

#74

I was also thinking about putting the head down, i think ill try that. And ill mess with the arms some too, because that is a weird position.

#75

i donno about you guys but i usually dont arch my ankles up that high…

#76

Ill work on that too.

#77

Heres the latest upddate. I put his head down some, but i tried messing with the arms and I couldnt get them to look right in another position. So i just kept them the same. I also added some birds to the scene. Comments appreciated.

One thing you could try for the arms is to shorten the rods on the burden and straighten out the arms. That might help both with portraying the weight of the burden and the posture of the beast. (you wouldn’t be able to keep your arms bent and muscles flexed like that for very long).

#79

good idea.

#80

grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr:annoyed: Im getting too frustrated workin on those arms. I guess i modeled them a little long, so when i stretch them out they hit the ground…and a bunch of other dumb stuff that i dont feel like fooling with. I think im going to just leave them…make that beast strain every muscle in him.

…anyway…any other crits besides the arms?..the more the merrier.

#81

i’ve got an idea for how you can adjust the burden so the arms should b ok but i’ll have to draw it and i’m not at a comp with pshop at the mo, will b in 30 mins or so.

#82

ill be waiting.

#83

ok, just an idea, needs beefing up too, but you’ll get the general idea

cheers

#84

I like the idea:thumbsup: …but…i kind of wanted to keep the contraption the way it is…with the beast having to hold up all the weight himself. hmmmmmm…ill think about it some more, and i might try to come up with something similar, because i see what you mean…ill think about it. And thanks for the input.

#85

Heres a snowy version of it. And i tried working with the arms more, but…forget it. Im gonna keep them. And im going to Kings Island tommorow, so no updates for a while. But if anyone can point out something else besides the arms, it would be a big help. Thanks.:bounce:

#86

I was wondering…for my final image, should i put falling snow in it or not? Which would look better.

#87

in my own opinion U should leave the snow
it looks good

and I’m happy to see that U have changed the burden
I think that it looks greater now !
:bounce:

#88

Thanks YoGoLo. I decided ill leave the snow in for the final image.

#89

So heres the final image.:applause: Thanks to everyone who commented and replied…you were all a big help. I learned a LOT during this challenge and had tons of fun making my first character. Cant wait until the next one.
