Beast of Burden-Contraption: Latexfatigue

#1

Here is my prelim’ concept for my beast of burden…
so give me so feedback, if you would be so kind.
Thanks a bunch people!

#2

Nice drawing and solid concept. Be interested to see how you finish it.
Keep us posted!

#3

PS: is that a rear view mirror?

#4

Cool! Great idea, those toes LOL.

Maybe try to rotate the horns a bit foward. Would be more sensible for an animal like this, and might improve the composition.

But that’s just picking maybe. Great sketch.

Excelent concept so far. I’ll stay posted.

#6

laugh no that is not a rear veiw mirror, good guess though. it is in fact a large paper lamp with fire flies inside! zippy.

here is a cleaner sketch, probably the one I am going to paint…so give me some critique…

thanks again!

I much prefer the bulkier proportions and squat pose of the first drawing. This one doesn’t look as if it’s under as much strain.

#8

The toes look rad but I don’t know how useful they are. It seems that with the size of this creature the “thumbs” would break, especially with all that weight.
Is that a fetus in a bottle that he is carrying? Superb.

#9

Yep! I prefer the pose of the first drawing!
Play it again Sam!

#10

First one’s best. The toes are great.

#11

cool, alright, I do have to make him “towing” something as well, as per the requirements. so squat preportions it is!
