first, I thought that the burden could be the ass of the beast…
I’ve start this beast with the sentence : “move your ass”
it means that we are lazy, so my first concept is to make a beast which arms and legs are only made to carry the ass
but now I don’t know if I follow this way or not

now my forst preoccupation is about the head
I haven’t good ideas…

maybe lizard, gremlins… I have to think about it :slight_smile:

Nice work. What’s the head going to be like?

So far, it kind of reminds me of the Tyranid Aliens from Warhammer 40,000. I like! :smiley:

here’s the first try for the head
It’s inspire by the alien’s head (alien IV)
I like the shape so I think that it will be the final (with some adds)

I put a backview too.

the two sides aren’t weld yet, it explains the defaults on the belly (<-- babelfish translation for ventre…) and the back

Really awesome design of your beast. I like the alien style head. One thing about the head though: if you are going to give it nostrils be sure to also give it eyes.

When I start the head I have the idea of a “no eyes face”
but after I’ve read the answer of ZrO-1 I change my toughts (when I compare my work to his, there are no hesitation :slight_smile: )

I really like the strange body design so far, but I don’t know about the head? I think you might want to try thinking of something a bit more origional. Not meaning any offence here, just that you’ve designed and origional, very interesting body, hate to see it turn into another HRG piece. do some concept drawing and see if you can’t come up with something more visually interesting to go along with the strange shapped body! Personally I might explore experimenting with some long kneck, snake-ish so that with that body it could still attack/eat/drink, ect. since it doesn’t look terribly agile right now. Combo, rabbit,mosquito, snake,dragon and ram! hehe… looking good, keep it up… and lastly, for the ass dragging, will it have a huge abdomin it’s dragging behind it, or is it more a puppy with worms kind of deal :scream:

I’ve already think about a snake neck but I haven’t manage to make good things, it’s why I have make a short neck.
But Your post give me a new concept of head with long neck :slight_smile:

I’ll spend my afternoon to do it, maybe a new update in the day.

Finally, in answer of your sentence : “do some concept drawing”
heu… yes… but there is a BIG problem…
my drawing competence are… heu… not very impressive :slight_smile:
but i’ll try to make some basics sketches this afternoon, thanks a lot dude !

Wow! This has really evolved! :slight_smile: I really like your most recent designs. The body is so strange and yet it has an elegance to it as well that is sublime. The back seems a bit strange to me, though. I’m having a hard time understanding what’s happening around the shoulder area. Overall, though, this is turning out great! Love to see more!

There aren’t too many people who care about my beast byt doesn’t matter for me :slight_smile:
I had say that I’ll manage to finish it in the time so I’ll try to do it until the end

little update with the harness
I think that I’ll change my first concept of the burden
I haven’t the time to make what I want
So I will make a simple rock as burden
less original but faster to realize :frowning:

I like the rafty thing. The wood underneath looks very, well, woody! Beast head is cool!:smiley:
