wonderful :applause:
Beast of Burden - Character - XVIVO
I like the sense of scale it has in these last 2 pics and with out the cage of skeletons on it’s back…but I really liked the idea of the cage and skeletons. Maybe if they were smaller to have the BoB seem that much bigger.
Well. by all of you replies, it seems that this creature is larger that I first imagined…so I roughed out its new size…Now I think this would be a formidable adversary to have on the battlefield.
sorry for the post-processing…i couldnt resist playing!
let me know what you all think
Thx!
Mike
…please ignore the blur
… the feed back I am fishing for is how do you like size and the concept of the battlefield BOB?
Mike
AWESOME!!!
This thing keeps getting better and better! What will it be fighting? Or is it like a moving fort for all those little men?
oh, and the battlefield looks fine.![]()
I love the scale and the battlefield BoB idea. Only crit would be the castle on it’s back. Maybe have it be a tied together wood fort rather than stone. i would imagine the stone walls would colapse if they were on the back of a beast.
Its a very good concept.
I don’t really like the style of the fort on the back. Something a little more streamlined would be good. And rather than just sticking a small building on the back it could be a little more custom built for the situation.
I also can’t help but imagine people being thrown off the top by the movement and momentum of the beast. So something design that can counter that might be cool. A gyroscope based design perhaps?
I quite like the scale, if anything it could be a bit smaller,… its sooo huge at the moment.
Is this going to be a defensive unit or attacking? I can see it as being either.
I liked the cage with the skeletons more, but maybe thats just my mine
anyway the beast is really amazing :applause:
Yeah, Im thinking cage more…that was the original concept…so maybe i should stick with it… The huge think might be getting away from me…Im so confused
Mike:bounce:
:buttrock: this guy rocks! the only thing i feel strange about is how the tower on his back is attached to the body. you should integrate it better, i think. so go on!:airguitar
DONK
That’s way cool modeling!!! and the concept is very neat too!!
I love it, keep it coming!!!
ok…a change of gears…
This BOB is henceforth know as a Ga-tauk. He is equipped with a single operator control (SOC) battle unit. The unit is equipped with a tri-tachyon device (TTD). This is the latest issue of the TTD which oddly enough performs much better then the Bi-tachyon device (BTD)
The TTD has peformed well in simulated battle manuvers.
The Ga-tauk is controlled via a neural interruption device.
details later
Mike
Oh man! I can’t beleive that’s upgraded to the TTD! I only just got the Bi-tachyon device. I’m still using my old-school mono-tach device too. It makes great toast.
hehehe
Seriously though. I love it. That pack is pro’lly your best one yet.
Looking cool, dig the high tech spin on it. I like the grace of the gear but something with more of a ‘business end’ would be cool I think…unless they fire in arcs like anime weapons? It looks weighty enough on him, though I think he could shrug that thing off and play basketball with it given half a chance
(I had to upgrade to the Bi-Tachyon Device, for some reason no one would talk to me when I told them I had a Single Tachyon Device
)
Guys, If you cant get your hands on the TTD let me know. I have contacts and i can get 'em at a fair price…hehe
cube, I did play with the business end approach, but I like the elegance of the (SOC) battle unit. Three three spikes emit a very powerful pulse that is quite spectacular to witness…especially to see it vaporize a full grown cow. Now thats a barbecue!!
