Yeah, I know about the “blockyness” of the toes, but they’re a REAL pain in the ass… <yawn> and I’m dead tired… just one more cigarette, then I’ll have to tuck myself in and read Terry Pratchetts’ Maskerade. Damn good book by the way :slight_smile:

If you need some help with those toey bits, let me know. I’m no expert (and let’s face it, I’m not really all that good either), but I might be able to help with those bits.

yo 3 thats defenetly a step in the right direction, it still need s work tho, (check ur pm as well)
his elbow area needs work, its i think to big, i dont think it would bend too well, also the back legs look real skiny compared to the arms, witch is cool, kinda like a style :smiley:

so i dont know, i guess u could tone the arms down a bit, u can make the smaller but still musclular, like think about hot chicks, they have thin arms, but still muscle defiance :thumbsup:

yo dont bother checkin pm i emailed u anyways i did this real quick example, ur on the right path, oh some other things to try;
try twisting muscles too, cause most of urs are pretty straight forward and linear to the arm.

anyways the picture i uploaded:
for the muscles stick to something more simular to human.
for the muscle that ends at the neck, have it flow right up the neck into the head. other thing is with muslces they dont end or just disapear either, sometimes they end into another muscle, going undneath or what ever. but the fact is they all gotta work together, and “flow”

sorry im not really good at this whole teacher thing, i know what i wanna say but i cant say it :smiley:

also the lower foot looks like its caved in on the outside. the inside looks ALOT better:thumbsup:

something i noticed this time is the foot is really square try putting an inside arc on it, like how our feet are. and for the out side its probably fine as it is but u could also so more of a human curve on it. just a suggestion.

the ohter thing i do when i model muscles is i look at mine and i feel around for where they go and look how they move and bulge when u rotate ur forearm, stuff like that, therse alot u can learn from your own body

Okay, first of all, this is goin’ to hell! :smiley: My graphics card can’t handle this shit, so I bought a new one, I won’t even attempt to model more on this one until my new card arrives.
For those of you interested:
Creative 3DBlaster GeForce4 TI4400 128DDR DVI TV-out Retail… or some shit like that. A GF4 at least.

@ Twisted Imperia … lovely. That muscle definition at the top of his shoulder is just what I’ve been looking for, you know, when you see it it’s so damn clear :smiley:

Yeah, by the way, I thought I would post this one for you guys… I just got the 3D Studio MAX 5 Pre-Release… and man, this look really hot!
I see some bugs still, but when they’re fixed this will be hard as rock.
Global Lightning [named SunLight] makes some cool effects :smiley:

Sorry guys, I will not have enough time to finish this one off :frowning: sucks, I know… but I’ll get back to my ordinary job on monday, and this weekend will be spent downloading stuff for my computer. I got a GeForce4 TI4400 a couple of days ago, as well as 2 new harddrives, and I can’t seem to get the c-dilla to work properly. and well, that makes it 1 day to get 3dsmax to work properly and as well finish off my beast, it won’t work.
Hopefully I’ll get enough time left to finish it in the WIP-section, but not here. Sadly enough.

Good luck to the rest of you, and I hope to be back for the next contest, and FINISH it :slight_smile:
