The legs are really starting to look awesome. I love the little folds you added just above the heel. That’s such a nice little touch.

#15

damn u chad man! ur goin down! heh!

sorry this is a bit late, but for muscle structure, what i used was kinda a mix between human legs, and lion, because i worked on the griffon last challange i used alot of that knolledge the rest i kinda just made up  but it works eh

umm yea man ur hind quarters there are lookin pretty damn spiffy, witch means i have to step up my progress

good luck

Im having trouble with the arm.I cant seem to get it to look right were it attaches to the body. It doesnt flow right.
any suggestions would be appreciated.
thnx

#17

Maybe try making more of a curve where it meets the body, or a little shoulder. Looks good by the way.

#18

ahh chad, yes the arm doesnt attach very well, ive had this same problem when i started my character, i ened up starting again witch isnt the best advice heh, but i had the same problem with the griffon too, its hard to get that front arm to attach, right now it looks like it just sinks into the skin, u have to have the muslces from the chest and sholders form into the arm connection, u really ahve to get under the skin and make the muscles work for u, take a look at how certain animals are, like horses, lions  humans anything, ull get some ideas. try modeling his sholder blades figure out where tehy are and go from there, gl
peace

I think the arms are too far forward on the chest. Try moving them out to the sides and closer to the back/spine. that might help tie them in a bit more.

#20

this Zro-1 character is a smart person. I totally agree. plus you should add a laser cannon.

#21

if something goes wrong, you can allways resort to laser cannons… or beer

#22

I agree with Zro too, bring the arms up and out more twords the spine. Also add sholder blades and possibly a rib cage for more detail. What you might want to do is sketch out your characters muslce and or bone sturcture(s), this might help a bit more.

On another note, Chad (great name by the way!), better watch out people might think your me… >click< :stuck_out_tongue:

#23

this is the arm somewhat fixed im doing shoulder muscles next

#24

Hey hey!

Looking good chad 'ol boy. The arms looking better how it attaches.

The only critique i could think of is that the knee is a little too round… I think it needs just a bit of varience in it. Feel your knee, you’ll know what i mean  Other than that its looking great man!

the model is coming along very nicely…the only comment I have is he seems alittle off balance like he will fall forward…but otherwise looking great!

#31

hey this looks really good. you might want to add some muscle definition on the neck part, the whole character has a hint of muscle definition except the neck. looks really good so far, keep it up!!!
