Beast of Burden - Character - swag
nice work
I prefer the unsmooth version of the burden
'cause it makes me think about satellite and in general, they looks angulars.
just my opinion :wavey:
VERY NICE!!
(I still think the feet are a little flat though  )
The engine is perfect :buttrock: Great job!
@pit its a Plattfuss BOB i have turn it a little bigger but its looks flat but i think it was funny
Mmmmmmmmmmmh…Yes , i like ur bob for sure…only one thing…i feel like ur beast need something like…ummmm…arms…or similar…anyway ,really good job!![]()
@ -OZ- thanks - no arms … he has a long tail for balancing - i think it works and i like it - with arms he become a dino character and i wont go for dino style
@ZrO-1 yes the master
i will do it this night so i can fix tomorrow some problems and set the rendering
Argh, another cool one I missed…I think it’s great, I bet everyone’s just sleeping or dead or something after the challenge
Really dig the designs, and well done… ![]()
Great final renderings - i esp. like the colorscheme on the last one - very nice indeed! Hope to see you on the next challenge!
Excellent job swag. I like the driver a lot. You did a really fantastic job. The last two renderings look really awesome.
Great work! (now I’m off to work.) :applause:
:applause:
This turned out very well!![]()
That power unit is great. A cool matching to the beast and master!
Hmmm…
Well, basically I think that the one thing you really need to work on most is your attention to detail. You need to include a lot more detail in your concept, as well as your model
Looking at your character especially, the lack of detail really sticks out - detail, for me, is the thing that makes things believable. Look at the world around you, and you will see it is cluttered with an amazing amount of small things - you need to incorporate this into your work in order to make people believe your characters and creations.
I think that the stage where your model is right now is a good start, but it needs a fair amount of refining, plau the addition of detail.
Detail is particularly important in defining the culture where this beast would come from - by including unusual clothing, trinkets, any kind of marking or writing - things like this will give the viewer a sense of where this creature has been and where it is going.
Your modelling skills also need to be practised a little more - I get the sense that you are fairly new to 3D, as there seems to be a slightly awkward feeling to your model.
Some of the polys look a bit strange - parts here and there need to be refined a little more.
But otherwise, as I said, this had lots of potential - it just needs some more work
Some textures would look great too
