Here’s a quick (and rather astoudingly poor) photoshop sketch of what I want to create for this challenge should I find the time… basically trying to put my idea down before anyone else has a similar one! :rolleyes: :stuck_out_tongue:

Hmm - after mulling it over today, I think I might scrap the camel.

The modelling won’t be anything complicated, I can’t think of any trinkets to put on it, it wouldn’t have a harness and it’s expression would’ve been “horror” (which isn’t in the guidelines sadly)… so it pretty much fails all round! :hmm: :smiley:

Bugger.

Oh well - back to the drawing board… literally!

I really need to dig out my scanner if concept art’s gonna be a regular…

My Photoshop ‘drawing’ skills aren’t quite up to my ‘holding a pencil and banging it out in 5 minutes’ skills - the results are, well painful.

I completey apologise for the spasmodic scribbling that this is - I really hope the model is better… :hmm:

Okay, well actually got around to fiddling with Max for a couple of hours the last two evenings, so this is where I am so far.

It’s still too ‘cow’ and not enough ‘odd’ - but I’m working on it. Areas like the nose/ears need tweaking and of course, the (seemingly) obligatory levels of detail… :wink:

Will play with more, then it’s on to his enormous spherical arse! Hooray! :smiley:

Crits and comments as always are more than welcome…

LOL when I saw the drawing you had made for your new BoB I was like: “c’mon AJ…you can do better than that”. And then I saw the 3D head and said out loud “oh crap that’s pretty dam sweet”. I really like the expression on its face. It looks like me when I’m sitting on the toilet :wink: hehehe (jk)

Not really gotten much done in the last week - but had a few free hours tonight (“A few free hours - brought to you by ‘Crap Sunday Night Television’…”) so played around with Mr Cow some more.

Started roughing out the legs - obviously need a lot of refinement (and of course feet)

It’s crap - it’s not really much… but thought I’d share where I am so far…
