Definitly am digging your concept man:thumbsup: Just looking at your progress thus far, looks like its going to be a killer model. Are you going to model the “person” holding the leash too? If so, its gotta be a woman…:beer:Hurry up and get it done…quickly…please before the urge for me to jump on this months challenge overwhelms me!:scream:

#3

scrapped the other one and started a whole new model…
didn’t like how that one was going…
anyway here’s a couple a new shots…

WIP

Coming along nicely! are you going to put more “meat” in its arms…more definition it the muscle? Am I jumping the gun? Should I hold off on my critiques until you are finished? Lookin good…

#5

Yea there will definately be more “meat” I am just getting started on the arm hopefully I’ll have an update tonight…

#6

love the sketch.

I think it’s a bit too early to critic the model, but try to stick to the sketch, it’s emotion/epxression on the sketch is really good

#7

Thanx iC4-

I’ll try and capture that emotion…

#8

Hey road. Nice concept drawing. Your modeling is really following the concept very well. Great work so far.

#9

Thanx for the comment ZrO-1…
Here’s another update…
got some muscles going in the front legs now…
always adjusting everything though…

crits always welcome…

#10

Another update…
Crits are appreciated and welcome…
Just starting on feet…

#11

Road, it is looking great! Definition in the arms is real good, cant wait to see the legs. Are you going to work the fingers a bit more? They kind of look like they were smashed with a rolling pin.:wip: Keep up the good work, man…i wanna see more!:bounce:

#12

thanx man…
yea im still working on the fingers…
Im working on this guy as fast as i can…

#13

very nice, do you allready know what it will carry/haul?

#14

Well at first i was going to have him carrying some big blocks of stone… but im thinking of changing the scale… so that a human would be as tall as the beast and that way i could have him carry more artifacts and such… like for an archeaologist or something… at this point i am still somewhat undecided…

any suggestions…?
or thoughts on changing the scale?

#15

ah, a fellow utahn. good luck, looks kool. stick to the exaggerated limbs, i love it!

1 crit: you may need to spread out the fore-fingers, or add a thumb, so show more support (since those fingers are holding up his upper body!)

#16

yea another utahn…
Thanx for the crit man…
I was already planning a thumb just didn’t get it in the last post…
here’s an update with thumbs and more muscle adjustments…
and some more body…

#17

Hi, it’s looking good
I have 1 opinion though, the fingers or hand could be a little stronger to sustain the weight fo that body.
Keep it up

#18

Here’s another update…

#19

:applause: love the legs!:applause:

Very good. The legs need a bit more muscle to them for this kind of look. Although I agree with nunoalex in saying the fingers need more strength to them, I quite like the position and look of them now.

Keep at it! Great stuff.
