Beast of Burden - Character - Pit

#100

@erilaz: - i´m working on it - no sweat, but mind you that is an complex object - so you´ll have to be a little patient. Ok? Thanks for c+c - u seem to be the only one looking at my BoB! - the bump on the flag will be replaced, but i guess i won´t find time to change the chains!!

ok - here´s a closeup on the BoB

added more stuff on top …

#102

Hey, no pressure on the sink! You take your time (well, in the little time we all have left!).

I don’t care if I’m your only contributor at the moment! Your model rocks!:wavey:

#103

Thanks erilaz - You keep me going!!!

#104

wau - thats great - the bird is very nice - how u make the feather of the bird (cinema)

#105

Thanks swag - the feathers are made with Hair Department and Solid Spline. The trick is to delete the geometry that hair department produces-> but keep the splines -> and drop a solid spline tag on them with your preffered thickness-> now it´s a post thingie and will occur at rendertime! That´s all!

#106

I still like this one!..
very bizarre Mr.Pit!..
great work…

#107

PIT! U ARE THE CRAZY GOD OF ODD DETAILS!!! AbsolutE LOve!!!:wavey:

#108

and oh your modelling is excellent:bounce: :bounce:

#109

I thank all of you - it means a lot!!
I would have liked to model much more detail into this one but heck -> next time!! It´s been great fun though!
@erilaz: Sorry, no kitchen sink! :thumbsdow
OK - will try to finish some decent renders…

#110

LOL! No probs Pit, it’s your model, not minel!!!

And it looks great by the way! Can’t wait for the final renders. Are you still putting in the salesperson?

#111

he pit, der letzte render gefällt mir seeeehr gut!! echt spitze! ich liebe die tausend details die du da gemodelt hast. man merkt halt dass du auch sehr viel zeit da reingesteckt hast. also gibts dafür von mir ein paar

#112

@ erilaz: no salesperson due to lack of time, but watch out for him, he might just occur in another forum at a later point -> will finish the model!

@derwolpertinger: Thanks mate!

I´m trying out different light setups and they all suck - major:annoyed:
These are the times where you really are told that you are a newbie!!!
Be prepared for some crap renders - i´m frustrated!

#113

… as far as i get with this one.

#114

last…

For a closer look on details you´d have to visit the previous pages. Thanx.

So:
Thank you all for crits and comments along the way…it´s been fun!

#115

Pit my man, you’ve done a truly awesome job on this piece. Your craftmanship on the modeling is great. I love all the little things you have going on in your scene. This is with out a doubt one of my favorites.
Great work bro! :applause:  :applause:

#118

@ZrO-1: Hey, thanks for the compliments !!!
I´m glad u like it (- although it`s far from finished !) Hope to see you on the next challenge - if you´re not to busy on your new job!!
