Yeah Oz he’s a real buty. Love the hair.
What’s he gonna pull?

#186

Beautiful,

I really love your style and the way you go about modeling and texturing, it really has a great feeling that not many cg artists have! You really have a talent for this stuff. Great job on the beast! I hope you have enough time to give us those final renders for all this. Great work! :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

to stipen :TNX MASTER!!!haaa so happy!

to Lorenzo:HI!how are u?Is a lot of time that i dont see u around!!..The hairs? ok…no plugins…i hate hair plugins!!!
slow and complex…coff coff…so:I start crating a single hair mesh (a cylinder very low poly) then i bend it ad place it by hand
on the model. Then i make a selection of the surface where i want to copy all the hairs. Finally i use a function in max called scatter (in the compound objects submenu) and copy the first hair in a procedural way. (sorry 4 the bad english…urgh!) Tnx 4 ur comments man!:wavey:

to zeb:Yeah!Look below and u can see some update (sky also)TNX.

to Artifex:HEeee…i will try to make the family scene at last…i work on this challenge a bit annoyed because i got a lot of work to do (not on challenge of course) but day after day i discovered
myself falling in love 4 this big horned and massive cute beast…i wat to give him a family…well,he pull a turret…look below.Tnx 4 ur comments…

to Fetus23: HA HA HA!TNX!TNX A LOT!..ok! Look down!

so easy,
I now this in max, are you working with 3ds max, I also, but I use scatter for ground or somethings like that, I never use it on character, great technique OZ:bounce:
and cool charcater too.

As usual beautiful and fun with in-depth character to your creations OZ. I love it, but I already expect this from you. I think I will enter the next challenge, you look like you and everyone else here are having toooooo much fun, I want some too.

I use Shag hair and fur quite a bit, I like them, but the scatter function is another very good way of showing off nice hair as you have proven. By the way.................Your english is better than most english speaking people, don't worry about it, it is very good.

Great job OZ...........5 stars from me, and it is one of the best in this challenge, where there have been quite a few excellent creations.........................

          See you soon.................. :)

to Lorenzo:He…i a little crazy so sometimes i apply the hair one by one…when i have applyed 20 or 30 i select all,and copy the selection, then i move it in group of 4 /6 hairs to make it looks different.in the end i take avery thing ad put on it a displace map to make a bit more variation…

to Virtuoso :…buuuuu huuuuuuuuuuuu tnx…i cry tears of true joy! PS: YEAH!!! Kmon!join the party!!!

#193

#196

to Mikael P.:Hmmmmmmm, still not sure about the eyes…yes,at last i think my bob need cowlike eyes…but the true problem is that i have some difficulties making realistic eyes…and the time is near to the end…acc.

this is a pure model shot…without colors and surface (only bumps 4 the turret.)

#200

Oh. Me like!
You should just get to know some rapid-prototyping guys, would make such a great little statue.
That base of yours is such a great idea. That is something I will start using in the future.

Yes those eyes are hard. But cowlike ones do fit him, would just be interesting to see eyes with irises.

#201

is that looks friggin good. your characters are so stylish. just had to say it again, really impressive.

#202
