Late Entry at planning stage…

Ok I have started on the model – more on that later I probably won’t get it finished in time… Mean while here is the concept art.

Ok after about an 2 hours I have the following

#3

Hey kayosIII, you’re right! What a weird coincidence! Yours is starting to look great!

You’d better hurry though, only a few days left!:scream:

#4

Yeah I am probably not going to get this one done in time… Oh well at least I will get a much better start on the next Challenge…

#5

The basic geometry of the body (except the back legs) is done… about another hours work.

#6

Looks like I am not going to make the deadline (serves me right for starting on friday) anyways I got the basic model into Realsoft3d…

Anyway for those who would like to play with the model I put a wrl. here

Ok this looks like it might be my final post before the deadline and I am only just starting to get bits of the model looking the way I want them too.

I had a massive problem today with motif… I compiled another motif app today andit ate my Realsoft in a big way… (Don’t ever use Lesstif)

…Added detail to the head. there is still more I want to do with the mouth. and started on the toes.

An admirable job!

It’s a pity you didn’t start sooner, this may have turned out to be a really cool scene! The details were just starting to come out.

If this this is your last post, I hope you enter early for the next one and really get into it!

Good job kayosIII!

Just figured out I got a whole bunch of extra hours duy to timezone differences…

Time to make a burden…

My Bamboo modelling skills could be better… I don’t really like it but it shows process.

#10

Got up did some sketching and came up with a Burdon I really like…
Here it is…

#11

Transfered everything to Realsoft again and added in some (very basic lighting)…

heres a detail…

#12

If I had time there are a lot more things I would do… The tortoise needs more work around the mouth and on the legs. The curtains look bodgey…

Here it is…

Anyway bring on the next challenge… This time I am ready
