I did a paper sketch first…i dont have a scanner tho…but it´ll give yall the basic idea…

And heres what i have so far after a day:
(well…2 days, but i didnt work much on it today)

sorry for the small pic…I did a quick pose for this pic…im not modeling it like that…the ground is temp too.

looks nice to me

That is a really ellegant creature you made.
It brings me up the image of a tiger and with their imperial ellegance. I already imagin him walking with and with his tail sweaping. Or also a bison who have those really muscled neks and then sutch a small ass:p.
Come on give us a biiger image and some angles that would make it super:thumbsup make it 800x600
and you might render it without brazil cos at this stage and with normal light it doesn’t impoves the image and I think the default render system does the lines better. and I don’t know if you can make a larger image with less size?
I hope to see some big ones soon and great going

Very nice start. As Iguiniz said, your BoB has some real nice lines to it.

#5

Hey Octo!:wavey: Wussup?
Nice BoB i like him:thumbsup:

#6

Oh darn…didnt even think about the image size…

im gonna post some bigger pics tomorrow…and maybe a wireframe or something…

I actually thought about a bison when i sketched it…this one is meant to be much bigger tho, but i dont have anything in there to show the scale yet…

anyway i gotta go to bed…work tomorrow :thumbsdow:

thanks for the comments!

#7

ok heres a lil bigger piccy.
I worked a bit on the legs/feet too (hooves?)

i have no clue how the head should look tho…i never made a design for it from the start…and the one it has now doesnt really fit it IMO…so feel free to gimme some suggestions…

#8

Im kind of stuck!..it needs more muscle definition and a good head…but im haveing probs with it… anyways…new pic of it (sorry for using brazil!)

Do u think i should add “lumps” on the back like this?
http://www.subwayz.net/upload/lumps.jpg

maybe it looks kind of cheesy…just experimenting…
let me know…
Ohya…gotta show the scale sometime soon…right now it looks too…regular…to be intresting for yall…

don t be sorry to use an excellent render such as brazil :]
nice start U did, i ll wait for the following images to give u comments

Update time…

whatcha think?

#11

update.
have been working a bit on the shoulders…still not totally happy with em.

and i did a quick pose again with a simple material:

and

next im gonna make some teeth…and ribs i think…
And gimme some damn crits/tips/whatever!
Oh crap…i hope the images werent too big…forgot about that again.

The first pic were great (maybe the head was a little bit small), but the rest of the body was great.

But when I look at the last 3 pic it looks really great. I like the head. It fits more to the rest of the body. It looks really strong so that he can pull something

keep on going the good work:thumbsup:

Wow…all these views and so few responses. Pretty pathetic I think…whats the point of having it on a forum then?

I like the overall shape for your beast. When I think of a beast of burden, I immediately think of oxen. Big necks…stout legs…muscular thigs…and bodies with GIRTH. I think you have captured that in the overall from very well…this looks like a very powerful creature.

My only crit for the basic shape would be to maybe make him not so long…maybe play with that a bit…might make him look more power house’ish…

Anyhow, the musculature so far is lookin good…keep us updated for sure!

Damn…missing out on another good one here…great stance and musculature…really seems fast and powerful. It’s almost like the back legs are evolving out of being used at all…heh.

I may be the only one, but I kind of liked the ‘flat head’…this one is really cool and gruesome/mean, but the other one seemed more built for ramming and gave an ornery stubborn vibe.

Just some thoughts…look forward to more of this guy…

A lil smoothed wireframe…
http://www.subwayz.net/upload/smoothwire.jpg
not super clean but maybe someone will appriciate(?) it anyway
just built the ribs…
i shortened the “waist” too
hyper: It was meant to be like an oxe…but that would be kind of boring…so i changed it…
about the small legs…yea u´re not the only one mentioned that…i´ll probably try to make them more muscular too and/or just make them bigger…
Thanks for the crits…i dont get many…but its still helpful
