Hi Manicalavera15, this is looking awesome, I love what you did with the feathers in the end, they would look great textured (if you keep going with this after the challenge is over make sure you post it in the wip section

Really really very, very great stuff :):)

#92

thx phil
hum i hope i can finish at time…but it’s sure i make more details and i finish at 100% after the challenge…

twofy : as you wish a lightin’s version of the gob, here’s some one of the body head.

#93

Yeah, you shouldn’t forgot friend, that’s a bad thing ;o)

Yes, we see some details on the face, but green-from-swamp don’t let see very other details

Yes I know I’m “heavy” (joke for french speaker ;o)

gob’s are stupid (like me:drool: )
and they forget firetorch love wood…:surprised

#97

one little gob…scale’s idea

my gry is a giant one campare the gobs ( one gob = 1 meter, a griphon without wings : about 10-15 meters)

#98

Important ! First test of serious render…What do you think of it? I need your opinion…I have to finish my BoB this morning:shrug:

#99

hey its looking good! to give you my opinion on your render, i like the fact you have a tight closeup, but do you think you should reveal more of the beast? the colors are good, is the blurry effect intentional, i like it though but its hiding all the nice details you put into the model. hope i helped:)

#100

thx !

of course…i m making anothers views:thumbsup: (about 10/15 , and i ll choose best ones)

ok for the blur…i think i can remove it.

Anothers c&c?

#101

Hmm, not sure about the rope the goblin’s hanging on to. It’s a bit wonky. Apart from that, no crit! Excellent.

#102

brazil sucks…45 min per render…

two anothers screens here of final version (i have forget special finish and details…srry i have to go this night in hollydays…so i must finish renders before 15h in france (and in france now : 14h30):annoyed:

ok ! some screens !

#103

arf sorry…the third image (wide plan) has bad light…we can t see nothin…sry

#104

front legs of the beast (+ chain of the burden linked to his left leg)

#105

Hey… you picking brazil?:surprised
Brazil is grrrreat! Just takes longer to get good quality!

I don’t think you need brazil to make your scene look good though, because this looks fantastic! Really nice. Pity you’ve got such limited time.

Work faster! Me want more!:bounce:

#106

i do my best…i use brazil because of global illumination, i have a problem with scanline omnis…the scene is bugging all the time…so i have no choice (damn !:annoyed: )

hum…i m on another view…have to be patient

p.s : one day…i ll take my comp and i ll kill him.:wip:

#107

finally ! i m back and i have until now to this night (now : 18h57) 00h to finish my BoB…
yeah !!! :applause:

#108

Ok…That’s all folks (sic)

I have made several final renderers and my scene is finished…

about ten days to make it… 45 min brazil rendering per image (5 in the compositing…)

I hope you like it.

i’ll make debug and i will finish it next week…for my friends who wanna see true form of the final textured griffon with good posture

Enjoy n’ have fun all
Here are the 3 last renders views
the third…(shows us how hot is the desert ambiance for poor gob’s worker)

#109

The fourth…an overall view on top of the scene…(lower left the war tower, upper right the gryphon)
