:airguitar :airguitar :airguitar
you Roxx
d’you use SubD Simulation (CPS) or native SubD of Maya Unlimited?
bye
Oh, one other thing that is bugging me. This beast is good…oh yes…the best most defined mesh imaginable…but…after many years myself going to the gym owned by a world top 10 body builder…I know that the only way to look like that is to drink nothing but celery juice for 4 weeks, whilst working out with weights which weigh less than feathers cos you haven’t the strength to lift your finger…the rest of the time pro bodybuilders look a little fat around the middle and there is a layer of fat covering the muscles…they are still defined but no so much as we would see at a competition…
So…my only problem with this beast is its lack of any fat tissue…my 3 cents…
Otherwsie a great job…
holly shit,…what the…damn man,i’m blasted
stunnig-o-amazingification. :buttrock: :buttrock: :buttrock:
Kaiskai - The beast wil be pulling a… well … something, I heaven’t started yet to work on it and dont know if I had a time, thats why it is leaning foward, HellRender is right about that…
ghZaaaRK- Cps until I got the edges flow nicely, then turn to subdivision.
neilyb - Is’s intentionaly. I know very well what you’re talking
about, I’ve been into BB some time ago and when I started I
told my workmates that I want him to be defined as Rich Gaspari
at 1988 Mr Olimpia

Thank you all for your great comments:beer:
Here are my crits:
Well, that’s fair enough…although I would have guessed at Dorian Yates (mainly cos it’s BIG!)…and best of luck…not that you need it!
:applause: :bounce:
geeeeeeez…
i dissapeared for a while and havnt been able to work on my bob.
and i come back and see alot of really good models.
but after seeing yours i dont think i can finish mine:rolleyes:
you are a talented artist and you better have a job in the industry if your stuff looks like this.
if not ill hunt you down and beat you at once!’ :annoyed:
  …One of the elite creations…There are many here for this challenge, and this is one that is near the top if not there already. Just excellent…How did I miss your thread???..Well thank the God’s above that I found it…Excellent job Mandrake…Just pure clean perfect top notch modeling done with flare…Great creations…

Fair enough reasoning on the arm, the other thing that bothers me about the arm is the lack of the elbow in there, I mena through the muscle you can see where th joint is, but no matter how muscular the arm is wour would see some solid and skin fold in the back area of the elbow as there is no muscle (or nerves for that matter other than in the epidermis on the bottom of the elbow, pinch it as hard a s you like it won’t hurt
That last render is amazing though simply amazing I’m just being picky to make myself feel better
if i may ask. ( not sure if it was asked already ) but what kind of machine do you have? videocard/cpu speed. and is maya still working nice and fast while you have all that data on ? because im looking into getting an upgrade, and i got a rough idea of what to get but arent too sure.
Yeah Mandrake I love your work, like I said before the attention to detail is huge! Everything is in the right place. How much time is into this? (just out of curiosity) you most be working on this full time. Anyways, I know my vote is placed.
shut - ha ha man your’re funny dont worry I have some job thank you a lot!
Virtuoso - what to say on those compliments … thank you man.
Kaiskai - I could do that with disp map latter thank you
ambient-whisper - It’s athlon 1700 (1466Mhz) ElsaGeForce2,
512 ram and 80Gb Ide Raid + aditional 40 Gb Maxtor. Board is Asus a7v266e. It works OK and stable, faster than dual P3’s at job. If you’re working with Maya you better get some profi Gl card ( gl 8800 at least) or you’re going to restart Maya occasionaly for getting the Gl back in some windows, its not good for Max either, ohh this should go to the hardware forum,
look I’ll send you a PM ok?
Artifex - you’re so suportive really, thank you a lot!
pascal blanché - thanks man I appriciate your support so much, I dont even know how I’ve finished this, working through the whole day on a work, animating then running at home to do a challenge work, it was funny and I enjoyed it, but now I’m a little tired … I’ll do some more renders… thanks again … think I’m going to sleep now … maybe 72 hours…
…this is a final pic … going to sleep … tired … sleep mandrake sleep…
..zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
