Beast of Burden - Character - Mandrake

#1

Its never late isn’t it. My first challenge  I dont know where I’m going
with this, it doesent even had a defined head, but basicly I want him to be
extremly strong and muscular, like he was MADE for pulling a huge weight.
The sketch is photoshop painting for outlining the basic forms and
muscles, other than that I really like a freedom of adding and changing
things when modelling, if it’s not like that I would fell like executing some
procedure with no creativity at all.
This is a great challenge and I think there are so many entrys because
the theme is inspiring. I dont know if I’ll have time to finish this one
but I’ll give my best.

Hey mandrake, welcome to the challenge. Looking at that sketch it looks like you have a good sense of muscle structure and form. I’ll be looking foreward to seeing some of your 3D work on this.

Looks like the translation from 2D to 3D is going pretty spotless. Keep it up, and I hope you show us a head soon

I think some actual feet and hands would look cool. Otherwise, i cant think of any crits.

Really really beutiful modeling Mandrake. The definition on the beast’s structure is fantastic. I can’t wait to see the contraption. It should be really amazing also.
