Beast of Burden - character - Levius

#1

Here is the first sketch, It will be probably changed a lot, however basic concept is something between Bull and Bull Terrier with Dune like accesories and lot of anabolic steroids

I got high temeperature right now, so I hope I will be ok soon to start with redrawing and modeling…

C & C welcome…

#2

You got the same animal combi as me! Both concepts look totally different though.
Not sure about the long front legs, maybe a bit shorter?

#3

NIce, this is a nice hybrid - retro type bull  I like the angle, are all of those steroid pumps? :surprised

a su salud

#4

You’re concept looks cool. I hope he looks very agressive with those things on his back.

Waiting to see more

#5

Roman : I like big front legs :), they will be the main moving device of it

Lildragon : Steroids are only in front ones, rest is fulled with mixture of glucose, vitamins and amfetamins

Mr. Nice guy : Thanx, looking for more from you too

Here is new study of head, however I am not sure about it, so I will resolve it during modeling…

#6

Finaly started to model. I will leave head for now and start to model body…

#7

I really love anything that’s bio-mechanical. You definetly tweaked my sweet spot with this one. I also like the muscle definition you have in the limbs. Great stuff so far.

#8

Thanx Zro-1 :), here is new screenshot especialy for you :

#9

It looks good, it follows good your reference.

Yeah go one.:buttrock:

#10

:hmm: dunno if it’s only me
but the gas-mask reminds me a lot of Ambient’s dragon/tiger thingee.

You’ve got a cool design otherwise. keep it yp.
:wavey:

#11

I don’t think that that’s a gas mask. I thought it was some sort of bit or mouth-piece.

#12

Jacko :

Yes I know this tiger, and I like it a lot. However I was more inspired by “wasteman” picture by Hanno Hagedorn.

#13

Besides, everyone has to do a gas-masked character. Isn’t it part of the rite of passage for modelers?

Keep going man. It’s looking good.

#14

Hey man first thanks for your post, secound i like the design of your beast a lot nice head i wanna see more, keep in touch!

really great job!

#15

Started to work on muscles, its quite hard becouse its first time I am trying something like this, on the other hand its lot of fun once you dive in it

I would like to have lot of definition in this character in “Simon Bisley style”.

#16

not bad so far!and we have the same idea with the 3 eye!go on!

check it out my challenge

#17

Nice model there! Good and clean.

Keep up the good work!

#18

really awesome details on the shoulder muscle (is that the deltoid?). That is going to be fantastic if the rest of your BoB’s musculature comes out that well.

#19

a-we-so-me! my friend Peter, this forum will bow down to you when it’s done

#20

Rex, BrainFaucet : Thanx

ZrO-1 : Yes its deltoid :), I am glad you like it, I will add more detail soon…

Christos : Thanx for funny Icon I was laughing about 5 minutes when I first saw it

Ok, so this is my latest update. I decided to keep it “low poly” becouse I like the “Cubism” look of unsmoothed polygons
