Beast of Burden - Character - KOryH

#1

Well,
Here I am doing bad sci-fi. I realize that this is a little generic but I am planning on modeling this, so I went easy on my self.
So far i have been impressed with the 2D turnout.
I ammproud of you all.

Great work guys!!!

Hey Koryh! Good to have you back here man!
Your entrie reminds me of an AT-AT… But he, I love AT-AT’s

Nice creature, although I think he could do with a bit more or a burden. Maybe some packs or something? Also, the guy will need some sort of harness if he’s to stay standing like that.

#4

It’s Ali of Babua…very nice.

#5

Ahh yes the burden thing.
well, at least I got the beast part right.

I will be adding a pack of sorts in the back.
And As far as the rider, well, he has been trained from birth to have amazing balance. He most likely sits durring long journeys.

#6

Trained from birth eh? Can’t argue with that.

Well, the AT-AT walker did have a rediculously high centre of balance, ungainly movement for a walker, no visible way of turning, lame weaponry, and small cargo hold relative to the space it occupied, but hey, they looked cool, so who’s complaining?
:stuck_out_tongue:

#7

Holy late entry batman!!!

Good to see you back Kory

#8

geez, if your modeling is as good as your 2D work, break out the buckets as there should a fair amount of drooling going on :buttrock:

I really love your work on the last challenge… keep it up (but then again how couldn’t you ?)

#9

Hey guys,

thanks for the inspiration!

I started modeling.
woohoo.
I still need to do some more drawings for this guy, so I am not leaving!
2D rocks!

#10

Yeah! KOryH is back …

begins awestruck stare

hehehehhe. Looks good KOryH, what’s keeping the collar up there? Doesn’t look like it’s attached to anything. Oh … and if I had a guy standing on my back, I think I could officially classify myself as a beast of burden.

I wouldn’t sweat the details of the “contraption”.

#11

here is a little update.
More details and junk.

#12

Well allrighty then! You’re back, I was hoping you hadn’t jumped ship. Are you going to 3d this for the challenge or will you post it afterwards? Nice linework BTW.

#13

I can’t wait til you color it in ! I think its pretty tight dawg !
