I’m a new member so I got in this late in the game… it’s a little intimidating to even post something after seeing the talent on this site.

here’s my progress.

Seriously, there is some good talent here. Some great talent. But there are also some moderately good talent, some relatively good talent, some not-particularly-all-that-great talent. There are a lot of newbies here, so don’t be intimidated to post, post, post!

Your model looks good so far, I don’t know what you’re worried about! It already shows a good facial expression. (I can’t quite place it though, somewhere between tired and angry, I would guess). I like it though. Do you have any concepts for the body?

Thanks, and yes I have sketch, but scanner is broke. I’ve modelled for a while now, but just not organic stuff. I saw this forum and thought I would give it a go.

Good start, the look in his eye reminds me of someone, can’t think of who?? Keep going what’s the body going to be?

worked more on the expression. My design calls for tusks but It’s beginning to look like several other BoB I saw.

well, since I don’t have a scanner right now, I tried to duplicate it in photoshop. It doesn’t do it any justice, I’m much better with paper and pencil.

I’m thinking about removing the horns and tusks and making the shape more round, with more prominent skin folds. I can see that the concept of massive front limbs and small hind limbs is a common theme in this contest. Actually there are many BoBs that look similar to mine.
