Hey everyone, Here is my entry for this months beast of burden challenge. This Hexadon is the favorite fishing beast for a little unknown tribe. As big as a nuclear sub, just strap a net to this baby and sit back and wait for the bounty to be harvested. I have no concept art for this piece. I know, I know… concept art is our friend… maybe next time.:buttrock:

The face looks kinda humanoid though…and that looks funny with the obvious non-human body.Was this intentional?
The face reminds me of the dragon from the neverending story. I like the piece. Nice job modeling so far.

thanks for the compliments. Everyone I have shown this to has made the association to Falcor. That was definatley not intentional. I am goiong to have to work on that. And as far as the face looking humanoid, that too was unintentional. I will rework the head and add more detail and see what I come up with there.
Does anyone find that the tail looks odd? Any suggestions?

As far as the face looking humanoid it could just be that it is facing directly at the camera. For all we know that muzzle could be super pointy and a foot and a half long. I’d post another pic at a different angle before you went crazy re-modeling something you might not have to.
As far as the tail, it looks like it’s just a revolved curve right now. which isn’t a big deal since you just joined the challenge. It should be more refined before you call it finnished though.
