Beast of Burden - Character - fellah

#101

hey is that series by CS Lewis, “THE Chronicles of Narnia”?

#102

tubby: yes, I think it’s based on his book “the lion the witch and the wardrobe”.
I’ve seen the “cartoon version” and the “real” version. but I must say I prefered the cartoony one.

#103

thought I would show you where I was on the BoB to

still much to add and tweak, but you’ll see that in the WIP section in a while…

take care

Nope. Narnia doesn´t have any beast the size of yours.
I am on my way of digging up the name. Soon hopefully.

#105

I want too create a little girl for my beast, but you are first

#106

There, now I got it.

Where the Wild Things Are, by Maurice Sendak.

It´s not so much the look, rather the feel and size between the characters that I was getting at.

#107

Whats the matter Fellah? Why dont you want to be included in final voting? :frowning: I like your Bob a lot…

#108

Your piece looks great so far Fellah. I think it’s a pitty it won’t be done for the challenge final. I will definetly keep my eyes open for this in the WIP section. Fantastic work bro! :applause:  :applause:

Mikael P: thanks alot for digging it up, I haven’t heard\seen it before, but the story sounds really interesting. I’ll look it up more closely, thanks!

Maxko: np, I don’t care as long as you don’t copy _the look_of my girl

levius: sorry  I just didn’t wanna submit a nonFinished piece for the challenge…
and in fact, I don’t care much for the voting. I have nothing to win there anyway, it’s during the challenge you win… thanks though!

ZrO- 1: thanks a bounce! :bounce: it means alot to me

Fellah you already know what I think…TOP notch work. Just in every aspect, fun factor, in-depth details, clean modeling, originality, I love it. It is one of the best, one of my fav’s. I will keep an eye out for it in the WIP section. It still gets 5 stars from me here…Great job Fellah.:applause:

#111

thanks alot once again virtuoso, for following this thread from the beginning and for giving me the strength to keep going! I hope to see you in the next challenge

Congratz on this fine piece - and i like your attitude towards the voting aspect. (Asger Jorn (danish painter) once said that art ain´t a sport as he turned down a heavily donated art prize - and he was starving at that point! I see the same thoughts revieled here. The learning part is what really can be gained. Ok, nuf said - really just wanted to say that i think u created a piece with loads of personality and charm - look forward to those big plans! Mycka bra - it´s the only positive swedish phrase i know so u might wanna replace bra with the equivalent word for brilliant or kick ass!

#113

Wow Fellah, you’ve got some major talent up your sleeves, and a bit more tucked under your hat! I love the little girl. So cute and simple.

I agree with Pit! Good philosophy on the challenge. Learning is a really important part!!

pit: hey I don’t know what to say. a big thanks is the only word I can think of! I don’t know the artist your talking about but he sounds like a really good man. thanks for trying out your swedish to
