#3

#5

Well… now with some details:

#6

on second thought, the feet might need to be a bit wider (side view), like in your sketch.

peace!

#9

finally some feedback! :airguitar :airguitar

you’re right about the feet… I’ll make it a little bit wider… well, for now i’ll made more sketches… anyone here knows where can I find some kick-ass REPTILE REFERENCES? or some DINOSAUR REFS?

thanks! and here’s some beer for you too! heehhe

Now i’ll work on the body and the shape of the head.

I made some changes from the original sketches. (my drawing skills are terrible too!!). I’ll make a gecko-style head…

tcha-nan!

(the first draw is just a study from a gecko, the 2 others are the concepts)

Now I’ve adjusted a little and modeled the thigh… take a look and comment, please!! I give you a beer!!!

My thread are almost abandoned!!!

:applause: :applause: :applause:

#14

Fique tranquilo, cara! :wavey: Nao sou brasileiro, mas ainda vale, ne?

I really like the new head much better than the original! Looks great! I like the foot, too. I think that the drooping skin on the ankle should actually rest on the tops of the toes, making creases.

More, more!:bounce:

PS. Parabens a selecao por ser PENTACAMPIOES!!!:bounce: :applause:

Nice, I like the tendon in the back of the leg. I think the foot might need a little more cushioning or else this animal would suffer from chronic joint problems, he needs pads or something on his feet to absorb the shock.

#16

WOAH! and u call urself a newbie???Hey guys !just look at that crazy leg! Great design/art/model!!
this thread is great from the start…

#17

-OZ-: Thanks, man!! I really like your concepts too!! It’s good to know that you like mine… I’m very newbie in 3d… I made 3d just for fun, cause actually i’m a web art director, but one day I’ll became a great 3dartist (I hope so! )

Mike: Thanks man! Man, your evil-beast of burden are AWESOME!

You have one leg? Spend more time modeling than rendering.
