Well heres a quick sketch of what I want to do for this months challenge .:bounce:

I think I watched just a little too much of the Junkyard wars marathon on the 4th what you think ?:shrug:

LOL, I was just watching the Junkyard Wars marathon also. Man, I love that stuff! Although I would totally suck at building something I think it’d be a blast to be on that show.

I like your beast … definately original as a mechanical BoB. I haven’t seen many mechanical ones yet. Is the horse a organic part or something like a statue used for form?

well i like teh horse bit. It just scares me quite a lot… very strange but cool idea, and for sure i can’t draw horses heads that well.

I can’t draw horses that well either arco I had to find a reference pic to get proportions right the efforts before the reference were really rather amusing and sad. :rolleyes:

I changed the design a little that unicycle front end was bugging me .

I think I’m going to make this thing pull some sort of war chariot but don’t know yet .

:eek: What the hell is that? it’s a bike, no it’s a horse, no it’s a tank! looks good keep it up. I still think you should work on the layout some more.:thumbsup: try a more menacing angle maybe, the sight of that thing is freaky, but the layout is to blah.

thanks for the crit gamorran . We have a month so I think I’m going to tinker with this one long enough to really set in my mind what it look like then place it in a scene which will hopefully include that more menacing angle you were suggesting . I’m going to play with the color scheme on this one until I’m happy with it the go from there . :wip:

I really like the idea but at the moment it seems a little messy. You just need to bring teh different elements together to give it a better feeling of wholeness… but yeah cool idea and scary.

my first idea was really bugging me . the more I looked at it the less I liked it so guess what ? I changed it . I think I actually like this one. This is going to be a plague beast he’ll be pulling a cart of deceased victims led by a radioactive grim reaper once I get done that is.

That’s way better Stygian. looks great now, the angle and pose are so much improved. Looks awesomw!:thumbsup: can’t wait to see the rest.
