Beast of Burden - Character/Contraption - Erilaz

#61

Thanks Three! I hope your day is coming along a bit better.

I wasn’t going to do this, but I might as well.

Here be the start of the Vindictive Pirate Hare.

Arrr!

#62

Looking good Erilaz, the ears on the hare need a bit of thickening, but I am sure you have that in hand…

#63

Thanks neilyB. I’m not sure how the ears are going to look yet.

Here’s a bit more on the hateful long earred slave-driver.
This model will be tough. Does anyone have a (wait for it…) HARE PLUGIN? AHAHAAAHAAAA… ahem.
Sorry.

#64

Hi, nice work but i have a problem with the legs - rest it all the time
or is the burden so heaviness that it cant go anywhere :hmm:

#65

HaHAHAHA, man that’s some cool hare you’ve got there.
:applause:

#66

Great turtle…
I love this concept… glad your adding the hare…
nice work

#67

 That´s one cute hare! - maybe to cute to be mean -> guess he needs a scar and a big cigar! Keep going…!

#68

Hey everyone! Thanks for the comments! Looks like I’ve got to finish that Hare now.

Swag: The legs are supposed to be that way. He’s tuckered out. Those legs aren’t moving anywhere!

Three: There could be heaps of bugs bunny related jokes for the rest of the thread! Hare’s Breadth, Finished by a Hare etc. etc.

Road: I’m glad to see the concept is being received so well! The hare will get there… eventually!

Pit: I thought the Hare looked kinda mencacing! Stare into that ridged black eye… can you not feel the evil? :surprised

Keep those comments rolling in everyone! I’m really grateful for the support!

#69

I’m having a really bad hare day

Don’t you ever sleep man?
I’ve updated my damn BoB’s legs again, they’re a real pain in the ass

ComeonIwannaBUNNY!

#70

Sorry Three! I forgot to bring my hare into work today, so here’s some work on his staff.

It’s a hairy business!

#71

LOL

Hmm, wouldn’t you think that a sabre would be better fitting a “payrate”? Still, cool staff  I can picture the jolly roger at the top and some animal skulls hanging off the actual “rod”

“Look mommy!”
“Where baby?”
“Right HARE!”
ROFLHAO

#72

I’m having a bad hare day…the new version of cinema doesn’t get hair without needing a plug…or dynamics…lol :frowning:
Waiting for the hare…think the stick is a good idea, better for whacking the tortoises head! Maybe a bullwhip on his belt though?

#73

LOL!
Sabre I thought of, but that was too predictable. I like the staff because, like you say Three, I can hang heaps of stuff off it! I’ll do some more work on Mr. Hare first though.

Hare today, done tommorrow!

(I can’t wait for some one to tell me to cut it with the lame hare jokes).

#74

Some quick work on the hare. I’m going for a scrawny look. He’s not very scrawny right now.

More in a few hours! :bounce:

#75

Bit of work on the body. Still not scrawny yet.

#76

I will gladly tell to you to stop with the hare/hair jokes right here (or is that hare?!) But keep going with the rest of it.

#77

More work. You can start to see the scrawnyness. As you can see by the puffed up legs, I’m modelling the pants directly on the main model.

Oh, and excuse the horrible paw/hands.:hmm:

#78

I like the hare/tortoise idea. Modeling looks great so far. Nice work.

#79

That’s a really cool idea having the turtle’s master be a rabbit.
The play-on of the ‘tortise and hare’ story is really very clever. Nice stuff bro!

#80

Thanks guys. I’m surprised how quickly the hare is coming out. I’ve only been working on him off and on for a couple of days. Here’s a little bit more. Still a lot to do. Actually, if you look back on my first post, this whole thing has come a long way really!

Yay! :bounce:
