#121

APT PUPIL, congratulations man.

Your model is great !!!

:applause:

#122

Thanks guys. I’ll try my best.

I don’t usually use modeling sheets, but this time, anything helps  I am starting to block in the basic form.

I predict I am going to be using ‘alot’ of bump maps heehheeh.

#123

Great! Keep it up!

I assume from your bird on the contraption that you’ve done feathers before, so this should be a breeze!

#124

i wish my crappy renders looked as good as yours man…keep up the awsome work

#125

Looking good so far Apt. From what I can see of the pheonix I think it should look really awesome.
Keep up the great work!

#126

Hey, THANKs guys, I really appriaciate the encouragement.

Right now I am trying to unwrap my bird so that I can texture it properly. However, I am still a little new to this unwrap thing, so this might take some time.

Well, we will see what I come up with . . . tomorow heheheh

#127

Saw this thread yesterday night for the first time, but I was too stunned to give a reaction.
Now I know what to type: holy crap!

#128

I can’t believe I am doing a “bird.” This is going to take some serious time away from my rendering for my boat  I hope I make it.

Well, I finished modeling the bird, I am now going to rig it and then finish texturing it (it’s already unwraped).

Well, can’t talk anymore, gotta go hehehehe:argh: :argh:

#129

 Holy cow!
That looks so good, even without a render!

#130

Are you TRYING to give me a heart attack? That looks gorgeous!! I’d better dose myself up good for your final render so I don’t have a seizure!

#131

I don’t think there’s enough expletives to express it right, but I’ll just say,

DAMN.

Truly amazing stuff. Very classical, but it also looks like it could sail right out of a squaresoft game.

I was trying to cajole myself into making a last gasp effort on my bob today, but now I think between you and Hiko the choice is more like pills or razor blades.

#132

#133

You have an incredible speed man. Hope you will make it.

#134

wow the bird is incredible , and you did it fast dude ,ta pas dormi ou quoi he he … ta pas besoin de le texturer ,en-t k pas pour le challenge ,le challenge rst juste baser sur la modelisation .

and i stand after your e mail . a +

#135

Thanks guys, but I am not sure if I will hand it in or not. It was created to quickly and hence . . . lacks details. But it was fun though :stuck_out_tongue:

Here’s what it generally looks like though. . . .

It’s still missing the trailing flags and chains, but I can always add them in later.

#136

Go for it, you can do it !!! :bounce:
I am really looking forward to see this one finished…

(and I got to try model something architectural right now, becouse it was to much inspiration to see your pict :))

#137
