Hi , thanks for the replies. It is not plant based, but he is not human and his biology can be based on chlorophyll.

Looks great. I donā€™t like suspence. Your style reminds me of jorentjeā€™s. This style seems quite european. Is that fair to say? Letā€™s see the rest.

It was a lot of work and after all, when you azre living on the "cĆ“te dā€™azur"you have to burn also under the original sun , not only the electronical one!
I was following strictly the terms of the challenge; just the character on the muppet of burden.
Of course, Iā€™ll integrate it in a background sooner or later!

Youā€™re quite a fast painter, this is looking great. I agree that the challenge rules said ā€œjust a characterā€ but go ahead and do a little indication. Itā€™s an injustice to your character not to have a little something.

Nice work on your website. Glad to see you have some paintings under your belt too.

My suggestion on this piece is too ā€œnotā€ isolate your color. The green is a little too the same everywhere. Meaning, pick up some other colors and move them through the creature, put some of the blue in the skintone of his body. (thereā€™s blue on the saddle) Move some of that magenta around the piece so itā€™s not so lonley. I see you have done this on your oil paintings.

This just made me laugh for about five minutes straight. Thatā€™s a good thing, BTW. Heā€™s great, I love the disproportionate head and the intense stare.

Great work, itā€™s got a good feeling to it. I like the background addition, helps place him and move that color around. Good job.
