I’ve been trying to make a laser beam which is pinned in one end, off-screen, with the other end procedurally tracking another object (Null object, light or whatever). I know that I can manually track one end of a rectangle shape to the target object, but that won’t really do in this case. For one, I require precision as only direct mathematical linking can provide, and secondly I’m hoping to make an effect which can be imported into future projects and be reused, with little to no editing required.
So, is there a way to get a math readout on the separate corner pins of a rectangle shape, so as to control them via a script?
