Bay Area, CA - After Effects Artist Needed

#1

Splitvision Digital is a full-service production facility located in Emeryville, CA. We specialize in video production and high-end motion graphics production for corporate and broadcast projects. We currently have a need for an experienced freelance After Effects artist who can work in our studio on a project lasting roughly 2-3 weeks. This is not full time employment, at this time we are only seeking a 1099 contractor.
Pay is $500 day rate (industry standard 10 hr. days). Please read the requirements below to ensure you match our needs before replying:

   1. Demo reel must demonstrate for-pay, corporate level or better work. This position is not for students, hobbyists, editors-who-also-use-AE or people with personal projects only on their reel. We need someone who can deliver professional, polished, reasonably complex motion graphics.
   2. We need someone who can work on-site at [our studio in Emeryville](http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&q=1319+61st+street,+Emeryville,+CA&ie=UTF8&z=15&ll=37.842834,-122.288818&spn=0.016809,0.039654&om=1). It's mere seconds away from all major transportation options, highways, etc. so it is very easy to reach.
   3. You must have an online demo reel so we can see your work, as we need to fill this position very quickly. Any submissions without a link to an online reel can't be considered for this project.
  1. We need someone who is available to work on this project between (roughly) 12/14/2006 - 1/8/2006, although the project may be a few days shorter than this.

That said, we’re all young-ish, mellow people and our workplace is anything but corporate. We like to listen to music and have a good time with our work. Please send a link to your online demo reel and some form of resume/cv/bio directly to me (Creative Director) at bcoots@splitvisiondigital.com.

Thanks!
