banner upload issues

Avatatar loaded fine but the banner keeps giving me:

The requested URL /mangage/file_error.php was not found on this server.

also, while trying to replace my avatar with another image, the preview doesnt update until I refresh the page, event hough it seems to refresh itself after loading it still shows the old image until I force refresh.

I’m guessing there’s something wrong with your banner, make sure it’s 900x165 pixels and under 1 000 000 bytes in size.

I’ll look at the error pages at work tomorrow :slight_smile:

that was my initially as I ran intot he same thing when I was trying to use a 175x175 image for the protrait, but I cna’t see aything wrong size wize with my banner, well other then its pretty ugly/cheesy rigth now but its just a temp

I haven’t fixed it, BUT now if you upload a banner it should actually tell you what went wrong.

Ahhh, your image is 905x165 … sigh We’ll slap tim, the banner isn’t the size it’s meant to be :slight_smile:

hmm not sure how I did that, thats my fault.

small note though the default banner is 900x164 so its a pixel short. I probably accidently typed five in the wrong input box and then fixed the 164 without putting th 900 back or soemthing.

Thanks for catching that.

EDIT: Actually, with constrained proportions on, adding that extra pixel vertically adds 5 horizontally, thats where the imstake happened.
