This is my latest image.
I have tried to create a character with a design based upon several sources of inspiration, such as such as stargate, aztecs, incas, egyptians,
romans, and so on…
This image was rendered with 3dstudio max default renderer(scanline) with one spot and two omnis for the lighting.
I have used a normal bump that I have created with Zbrush, mixed with photo map. That’s for the bump.
I created the diffuse map in zbrush also.

I love it. It’s pretty amazing that you did this with the defaul renderer. I like the finishing touches, it gives it a nice soft texture.


Great piece however I think the lighting could use a bit more work on it. I think that’s the only thing holding this back from being a great piece. It’s too hot in places, mainly on the face and blowing out other areas as well.
