Recently I started learning concept art. I do a lot of anatomy studies and I tried to create character. I will be grateful for critique and advice.

Humanoid monster. He live in a cave. Probably is a deserter from war enchanted by a sorcerer.
Is his head just a skeleton? If so, how does he see, smell, hear, taste, think, etc.? Also, keep in mind that when you have any character that’s missing features that are required for expressing emotions, it’ll be really hard to actually portray any facial expressions–you’d have to resort to using only body language.
