I can’t seem to figure out how the vrayfastsss material handles the back-scatter map.
I’m using a map to define which places on the model should allow for back-scatter, but it looks wrong in the render. It’s like it’s too sharp and also blue instead of red. The map is a greyscaled image that is dark all over apart from the parts which I want to allow for back-scatter.
So I would really like to know how V-Ray handles the back-scatter map. How should it be painted?
